, a national review article claimed that the sandy hook tragedy occurred because women were running the school. and what the school needed was "male aggression for protection." the article made no mention of the fact that male aggression was the problem. this same sexist and frankly insane line of reasoning is what keeps women out of military combat even though they have time and again proven to be heroes. like kimberly munley, the police officer who took down the shooter in the 2009 fort hood massacre that killed 14 people. last month four female service members and the aclu filed a federal lawsuit to overturn the pentagon's exclusion of women from combat. they argue that the restrictions are unconstitutional and have created "a brass ceiling." i love that. the plaintiffs all have served in iraq or afghanistan in dangerous combat-related missions. two even have purple hearts, a combat declaration after being wounded on the battlefield. zoe bedell is one of the plaintiffs. she joins me here in new york to discuss wh

. >>> the massacre at sandy hook elementary school got a lot of teachers thinking, what would they do if they found themselves in that same situation and a debate has exploded over whether arming educators is the answer. this is utah, hundreds of people attended a free gun training class especially tailored to teachers and other school employees, some of them already are sold on this idea, others just want to learn more and maybe give themselves the option. joining us now is david burnell, ceo of ops gear, he cosponsored the class with the utah shooting sports council and cory sorenson, a fourth grade teacher who attended the class. good to have both of you. i want to start with david. david, what did you teach in this class? >> the class is broken into two parts, it's called mass file and solutions and these are alternatives to being murdered in a classroom and we break it down into three categories, we talk about run, hide, fight, and breaking contact from the bad guy and barricading and we talk about the last resort you have to fight and the fight piece we break it down into proximity tools such

? >> three things. one is superstorm sandy took a lot of cars off the road. it really reduced demand for gasoline as you know. until recently there have been a number of gas stations in the northeast still without gas. people after realizing they weren't going to have as easy a time getting gas decided to make other plans it the storm itself took some roads out and took some people off the road. number two, there were some refinery issues in california going on at the same time. they've been resolved. that's put more gasoline online. the third thing, this one's important, crude oil prices, which are really the underlying feedstock for gasoline, crude oil prices have remained low. as we are concerned about the fiscal cliff and a slowdown in the world's economy and in asia and in europe. so these are the three factors that have come together to give us a sustained drop in the price of gasoline almost over the last three weeks, wolf. >> is this a short-term development? what's in store over the longer term? >> we're into that lower driving season. obviously, spring and summer are bigger
